  1. While in CR, stop in and visit one of the many sportsbooks that service the world. Most welcome Gringo visitors.

As far as fishing? Why not and thanks for the advice.

  2. Bets…

This was a brief break from our sponsors. The occasional advertiser helps to make us look this good.

FYI… your picks will be up tomorrow. Here’s hoping you do better than any of us have done so far this season.

  3. Here was I thinking , you would be heading to Africa , to go on safari, to take a look at Cecil’s (lion) younger brother ? LOL,LOL,LOL !!!! What’s up with that ? Staying closer to home instead ?

So the dominoes are beginning to fall in baseball ? Zach Greinke of the Dodgers opts out the remainder of his contract . Granted. Clayton Kershaw has to be thinking does he stay with a sinking ship or move on ? Kershaw having signed that contract , is now in no man’s land because that Dodgers’ team is nowhere near as good as some still believe them to be.

Both the Mets and Royals are going to lose out big-time as they try to keep some of their top free agents. Once these guys hit the open market it’s going to be all-out warfare as teams try to outbid each other for these players’ services.

The Rays will never be in a position to after a marquee player because Stuart Sternberg just isn’t astute enough and would rather settle for bargain basement and do things short-term. Leading to them over time losing many of their top players within their farm system whom they tend to do away with or keep them around for two or three years , years before letting them go . No wonder Joe Maddon and Andrew Friedman left a sinking ship.

  4. The Royals, Al, will ultimately have some decisions to make when it comes to some of these guys re-upping.

I imagine ownership will get it done though, keeping the core pieces.

These guys could be good for some time to come.
