Tony and Dan spoof Brett Favre spoofing LeBron James. Confused yet? (video)

January 20th, 2011 by Chris Humpherys

While our two most ‘beloved’ athletes made decisions this year that altered the course of  our nation’s history and shifted the earth’s axis, two less-talked about gentlemen took it upon themselves to spoof them both in spectacular fashion.

In 2010, we talked endlessly about Brett Favre’s decisions to retire, retire and retire once more.  Then his package went viral, the result of an ill-advised text message.  LeBron’s decision to leave Cleveland was the sports story of the year.  Later, the marketing geniuses at Nike made us empathize with LeBron’s plight in their “What Should I Do?” commercial.

Well, Tony and Dan have combined these two tales in a stroke of comedic genius.  I wish I could take credit for this but I am merely a conduit.

Let’s have the boys’ handiwork speak for itself, shall we?  Nice work, gentlemen, and once again, children…. EARMUFFS!

Who is this guy, why is he taking over my television and why does he always wear the same friggin’ hat?: Making sense of the Mike Rowe invasion

December 15th, 2010 by Chris Humpherys

I have lots of baseball caps in my collection.  I wear different ones depending on my mood… or whether I decided to brush my hair that morning.  I wouldn’t necessarily say I ‘accessorize’ but I have been known to mix and match.  (Okay, so maybe that’s accessorizing).  Read the rest of this entry »
