Weekly caption contest celebrates Alex Rodriguez, Cameron Diaz and love in the Gulf of Mexico

While most of us sit in shivering cold weather, piecing together what’s left of our checkbooks after Christmas, others who are slightly more fortunate bask in the Mexican sunshine, tanning and surfing and sipping margaritas.  Must be nice.

Sports and Hollywood have always made for strange bedfellows.  We’ve seen Marilyn Monroe and Joe DiMaggio, Eva Longoria and Tony Parker, Madonna and Jose Canseco, Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo, and Kim Kardashian and pretty much everyone.

Alex Rodriguez and Cameron Diaz are the latest odd couple to be in love.  Seen below, the Yankees third baseman lay afloat in Los Cabos while his girlfriend and former Charlie’s Angel frolics beside him.

In celebration of love, baseball and the need for a tan, I proudly present our final caption contest of the year.  This week’s winner will receive a coupon for one free frozen margarita at a Mexican restaurant near you.  Cameron Diaz not included.

  2. That slut Madonna paddles by one more time and I’m gonna put this oar where the sun don’t shine.

  3. Han…

Maybe it’s the other way around.

    Maybe it’s Cameron who’s looking for a trade-in.

Wouldn’t it be just dreamy if Cameron Newton and Cameron Diaz became an item?

After all, he’s got money too.

  4. It’s nice to know that Cameron is welcome to the idea of being part of A-Rod’s passion for being a swinger .

“Cameron the way you’re handling that pole is making me feel good ” C’mon play with my wand ” ?

    tophatal …………….

  5. So, Al, I have two questions regarding the Diaz-Rodriguez relationship….

    1) They’re both loaded so how often does Cameron Diaz pick up a tab when they go out? Or is it always Dutch?

    2) How much Spanish is spoken between the two. Both of them habla, although a broken Spanish, I believe. I was just wondering if they ever mix in some Spanglish in an attempt to get in touch with their Latin heritage.

  6. No, I would say she definately isn’t but looking at that pole maybe she got the idea…..just saying..

  7. They habla, just not in AZ. And yes, Chris, I’m still among the living, if you want to call them that.
