Seth MacFarlane has never been one for holding back. Family Guy, his crowning achievement, is not only the greatest adult cartoon to bless television’s airwaves over its 11 seasons and 200 episodes, the program has successfully managed to offend every race, creed and culture in the process.
Recently, however, MacFarlane really hit home.
I’m not sure how many of my fellow Florida alum caught the January 6th episode but Seth threw a zinger at us Gators.
If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, then UF has finally made the big time.
Wait for it… and Go Gators!

You know the old saying, “there’s no such thing as bad publicity”.
Maybe he was referring to 1st down syndrome.
Good for Gator nation !
‘I just hope he’ll be making a sequel to “TED ” . (Grossed over $200 million in North America alone)That’s one s##t funny movie ! And Mila Kunis , I’d love to “snake her” plumbing !
Tophatal …………..
Did someone mention Snake?
Aer…
True.
And as always, I read that there were some groups in Gainesville overly offended.
When are we going to learn not to take things so seriously?

Unfortunately this season against Georgia and Louisville, we couldn’t manage all that many first downs without turning the ball over.
We allowed plenty though.

I guess I’ll have to give Ted a second chance. I wasn’t all that crazy about it the first time.
Other than Kobe there is no one on the team playing with passion or zeal . And in terms of defense , a condom with several wholes in it , could provide more protection than those bunch of frigging morons !
OK , how much of a drubbing did Vegas take with both the Falcons and Patriots losing in both conference championship games ?
Who saw that one coming ? Did you ? I know , I didn't , that's for sure !
Crickets are making some noise , so that must mean hockey has finally arrived . Lightning owner Jeff Vinick has spent close to $200 million on buying up bits and pieces around Channelside that he didn't already own with regard to refurbishing some of the less ritzier edifices . Meanwhile the franchise has lost in excess of $30 million because of hockey's three months of self induced idiocy . Nice , real nice ! LOL,LOL,LOL !!!
In the fine tradition…just like when Ned Flanders said “Hmmph. I guess Heaven is easier to get into than Arizona State.”
And how many retards are pissed they’ve been called “Gators?”
Chris
With the deal done on the sale ($525 million) of the Kings with nothing but the NBA’s Board of Governors giving the sale their seal of approval . New owners are Microsoft’s Steve Ballmer and the brothers from the Nordstromm retail chain as well venture capitalist Chris Hansen , will relocate the franchise to Seattle .
Yet the lame a@s morons within the city are now bitching and whining . Amongst those crying foul is billionaire Ron Burkle , but his dumb a#s initially showed no interest in buying the franchise .
And only in California can you have one of their politicians step into the fray and threaten a company such as Microsoft , while his state is in a f##king financial mess , a state with over $2 trillion in debt and a budget crisis that would cripple most most developed and third countries .
California Senate President Pro Tem Darrell Steinberg has implied Microsoft’s California business contracts could be in jeopardy if the NBA deal goes through.
News of the pending sale of the Sacramento Kings to Chris Hansen’s Seattle investment group is proving to be a tough pill for some California politicians to swallow.
In a letter sent Tuesday to California Department of General Services director Fred Klass, California Senate President Pro Tem Darrell Steinberg calls out Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer for his role in Hansen’s group and asks for more information on the Redmond-based company’s contracts within California.
“I would appreciate your help—as the director of the department in charge of most state procurement—in obtaining some information that in light of these reports is certainly relevant to California taxpayers, particularly those in the Sacramento region.
Specifically:
– How many technology contracts and at what total cost to state taxpayers does Microsoft Corporation currently have with the State of California?
-In total dollars, how much has the State of California paid Microsoft Corporation for its products and services over the last 10 years?
– Can you send my office terms of contracts and representations made by Microsoft Corporation regarding their contracts with the State?”

Shouldn’t this dumb a#s , Darrell Steinberg (Pro temp – President of the California Legislture) be more concerned with his state’s massive economic woes , rather than the sale of loss making NBA franchise that isn’t that well supported when they are playing at the Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento ? ” Sleep ” being the operative word with the way the Kings have been playing as of late !
Now comes the “sweetener” , Ballmer and Phil Jackson are close personal friends , as well as sharing interests in cattle ranching and land conservation . Both own manage large cattle spreads in the state of Montana . Get the idea that Steve Ballmer will offer Jackson a position within the newly relocated franchise ?
I guess I was just expecting more out of a Seth MacFarlana film.
My Lakers debate with the Pest is up. I still refuse to believe this team will miss the playoffs. They could have taken that game against the Bulls the other night but just folded late. This team’s playing with no intensity. Time for a team meeting.
And I guess we’ll see what the Patriots do this off-season. I’m sure the Hoodie is already hard at work.
Dub…
Or even worse, Lakers fans.

Sounds like it might be too late for Kings fans and now they’re using Seattle as bait. Either way, it’s a bad situation with the two fan bases caught in the middle.
How about just eliminating the Bobcats altogether. That team is horrible.
Sounds kinda mild on the “Family Guy” politically correct meter…hell, it doesn’t even move the needle, does it? But to be sure, I’m sure some folks at U of F are a little put out about this “shout out.” I am not a regular viewer but I find myself seeing bits and pieces when I have remote in hand and headed across the vast spectrum of channels…and I do laugh out loud at a lot of what I see and hear.

I’m a huge fan of the show and its boldness and creativity.
Kudos to MacFarlane for creating something truly special.
Even if he does think we Florida grads have special needs.
It’s not a bad situation at all for the Sacramento fans as the franchise was losing money , lackluster support in terms of attendance . And they’re bitching and whining like the pu$$ies they are ! Never mind that the Kings haven’t been a competitive force in almost eight fu##ing years .
Eliminate the the Bobcats and the Wizards ! Or just have them play in the goddamn WNBA , if the players on both teams still want to viewed under the NBA banner in some form .
Al…
At least those teams all boast double-digit wins and if you look close enough, those teams aren’t as horrible as we’ve seen in the past.
Look at the point differentials?
Sure, Charlotte’s bad but Sacramento and Washington are losing by an average of 5-6 points per game.

No, my head was throbbing. LOL
Chris
What was it that you didn’t love about ” Ted ” ? That was some raucous and really funny s#it !
Kobe’s latest , after the Lakers’ most recent loss ” this isn’t working ” ! When you have an ailing dog that is on the brink of taking its last breath , isn’t the humane thing to do , just to euthanize that animal ? The Lakers have been ailing all season, yet , GM, Mitch Kupchak and SVP Jim Buss are simply too dumb to realize the mess that is right there , in front of them . If they are seeded , anywhere between the fourth through to the eighth seed , they are still going to make an early exit in the postseason .
How damn awful were the Patriots in not being able to score a point in the entire second half against Ray-Ray and his boys ? And if to mirror the same sort of ineptitude , the Falcons emulated the same damn thing as the Patriots in the second half</a. of their game against the Niners .
Who saw that one coming ? Did you ? I know , I didn't , that's for sure !
