I’m not going to bore you with a slew of words and unnecessary golf prelim for this post, as there are about 150-200 pictures and videos for you to sift through at your leisure.
Instead, I’ll be brief as I leave you with the sights, sounds, birdies, bogies, hootin’, hollerin’, ins, outs, and what have you’s from a glorious day in Tampa Bay and the opening round of the 2025 Valspar Golf Tournament.
The environment was casual and super accessible for fans, but not so much for the players as the difficult conditions left only a handful of golfers posting the day’s best score of four-under-par.
At the end of the round, even the biggest name golfers stopped by to appease a few fans and sign a few autographs.
Ladies and gentlemen, I give you… Valspar!
For my first time at a professional golf event, I loved everything about it…even the constant commentary of a certain golf coach in my ear lol. So many of the players were accessible to the fans and made the time to sign autographs despite the hellacious day they had on the course. Very glad I had the opportunity to attend and will certainly be a core memory forever.
